PC America

now even though i know why we americans are so pc right now i still can't help writing this blog today. i love to watch great sitcoms and very rarely now (or even at all) are there live audiences to watch the taping. that really bothers me because the live studio audience makes way for great energy and those moments on film or live create a wonderful dynamic for the scene. back in the days when we had the flip wilson, good times, i love lucy & martin shows they all had a live studio audience and you can see the fun they had when they messed up a line but kept it going after taking that comedic moment just to have a laugh. now the laughs are plugged in while editing and everyone's a diva or some sort of ego-driven talent that doesn't have to deal with people unless they're doing a paid appearance to feed their ego even more. gone are the days where we really deal with each other. everyone is just so cold. i'm starting to see that money is the real superstar and we are all slaves to it. i hope that one day we can once again laugh together and look at one another in awe and not have more of an emotional connection to our cell phones and gadgets but each other. it makes for a great community.
