Truth

i have this theory. and the theory is that the truth is often where you mostly don't want to look. how much of what we want to believe is actually true? are most of us walking around in denial of the truth because it's just way too harsh to accept? just something that crossed my mind today as i was thinking about time and how it works on us differently as living things. time is a reality that kind of just sneaks up on us. just think in a day when you may or may not be doing much how time just moves along regardless of what you're doing. and when it's all said and done time is still ticking.
tic-toc-tic-toc.
this new millennium decade is soon over and a new world is upon us. come 2010 we will be in a new decade. we forget that because we are having a tendency to group the whole 21st century together. but yeah it's not the same world it was just 8 years ago. technology is advancing the world and flattening it more than ever. i can feel a whole new reality approaching us as we continue on toward forever.
i am made to believe no one wants to hear the truth. it's too scary, too "real". my question is: does anyone care about preserving the essence of living anymore or is life all about the hustle and the pursuit of financial status? maybe i should be on that too. maybe i'm in denial of the realities of the world. i want more than that though. i want us to experience each other until we realize we are all the same with different languages and financial states. there's not too much that separates us humans but what we tell ourselves. the mind is the most capable asset in life. the mind can take you places near and far. if you believe it it's true. if you don't believe in something it's not true. this is my truth tonite, right now. and i'm signing off before i say too much more. peace.
