Good Morning Late Bloomer...

i'm trying something new this year: success. everyone has their own definition of the art of success and happiness and i've decided to challenge myself to the highest levels this year. i have a tendency to wake up late and these words should inspire me to get to it:

wake up late bloomer

for it is the the early bird that catches the worm

wake up late bloomer

the raining sounds are calling your name

wake up late bloomer

and take your place

late bloomers don't win

late bloomers get tans under the afternoon sun

and they don't take life seriously

you said you weren't a chicken that runs crazy

so wake up and prove me wrong

live the life you dream as opposed to getting used to a sad life song

oh child

one so mixed up to the ways of the world

it's not rocket science

but it does involve time & energy

a little bit of drive & a whole lot of determination

so which one will you be?

a raisin in the sun?

or a shining star?
