In Essence

in essence you want to read about the revolution
you won't but you're reading it
in essence the real question is are you capable of change
in essence are you capable?
what are you going to do when the revolution has taken over and as you look forward you can't see yourself as you are?
that the person in the mirror is not you
you are looking at a person that knows not of themselves and the world and your job has told you what you are
that is the revloution
when you can't think of your next move
when your next move has been made for you that is the moment you are checked
checked into a situation of your doing
because you knew not of self
no go ahead and sell yourself on the auction block
there is surely something for you and that is me
as i move thru the earth i see people that like to hide from the truth
the truth is clothed as a secret mask that must be kept behind
but my mission is to forget the rules and wear truth in my eyes
so when i look at you you see the truth that is in me
and in this life that is what i search for. -Janus
