it seems at some point we must give up something that means so much to us, then we realize that in the end it was worth it (most of the time). what is it that keeps us hanging on? maybe life gets so unfamiliar at times we just want to keep all of the goods and never give them up. having the faith to give up the goods can lend even better ones. no one makes these rules, we just play the game and hope for the best every time. it's a great thing to have people, things, traditions and a lifestyle around that you don't want to give up. but as the saying goes "all good things come to an end", remember that most of all. change is not the end of the world. most times it isn't the tangible "person, place or thing" that we hold on to anyways, it's the notion that we don't believe we can have what we really want so we hold on to what we have in the present. i say it's time to understand that we can enterprise and have what we really want. but first we must let go.
